Set in a rapidly changing neighborhood, two sisters sign up for a reality tv show to sell their childhood home after the passing of the family matriarch. As Julia and Patricia perform for the camera, they confront their own desires, aspirations, and the sacrifices they are willing to make to achieve them. What is the cultural cost of progress in America? Is cashing in always selling out?

Bio

Cassidy grew up in Colorado and Wisconsin, always drawn to the stage. In high school she found herself on the improv team, in the plays and musicals, and TA-ing the theatre classes. Cassidy would bus to other schools for the chance to be in productions. She moved to Seattle in 2016 for a Cornish BFA in acting, directing, and playwriting. In 2020 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornish College of the Arts, (with a study abroad trip to Italy’s Accademia Del Arte mixed in midway). She chose to continue her education with a bonus semester of Cornish+ in 2021, finding new freedom in vocal work, dance, and clowning. Cassidy belonged to Squawk Squad, a professional improv comedy troupe, in the 2022-23 season with Jet City Improv, and is thrilled to currently be in a production of Dream Hou$e at 12th Ave Arts with Washington Ensemble Theatre. On weekends she can be found at rehearsals, decluttering her apartment again, or taking her dog, Bear, out to the mountains.
